Ryan Weller
Ryan, the founder and President of Weller & Associates, Inc., has over 17 years of experience working in CRM
throughout the United States. He received his B.A. in
History/Archaeology from Defiance College in 1990 and his M.A. in
Physical Anthropology/Archaeology from the Ohio State University in
1993. Ryan has authored/coauthored over 1,000 CRM
publications ranging from all levels of complexity. Ryan has been
responsible for the completion of several Phase II site assessments and
Phase III data recoveries. He currently
gives speeches and presentations at various events/conferences to
better educate the public and scientific community about specific sites

Justin Zink
Weller & Associates, Inc. has employed Justin for over 8 years. He received his B.A. in Anthropology (cum laude), with a minor in Business, from Ohio University in 2003 and his M.A. in Anthropology from The Ohio State University in 2009. Justin has authored/coauthored over 180 CRM publications in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, Maryland and Indiana. He has assisted in the completion of over 700 CRM surveys and publications spanning the gamut from PCRM to Phase III. Chad
has been at Weller & Associates, Inc. for over 9 years. He attended
the Ohio State University and majored in Anthropology, with an emphasis
in Bio-archaeology. Chads archaeological field school entailed the
excavation of glacial kame burials in northern Pickaway County, Ohio.
He has played a role in over 500 CRM surveys at every level, from PCRM to Phase III.
Chads role at Weller consists of everything from Field Supervisor to
all aspects of report publication. Chads research interests include
the origins of agriculture and sedentism.
Brett Carmichael
As
the newest addition to the Weller & Associates, Inc. team, Brett
has been with us for over 5 years. Brett received his double B.A. in
English and History from Cedarville University in 2001, with a minor in
Religion. He has taken part in over 200 CRM surveys throughout the Midwest and has worked on every stage of the CRM process (PCRM to Phase III).
Bretts responsibilities at Weller consist of Field Technician and all
aspects of report preparation. He oversees all publications at the
editorial stage and is responsible for the compilation of
county/township specific histories. Brett spent a year teaching English
and American Culture at the Peoples University of China. He also
enjoys the study of all cultures and their histories.
